James Wasser, AIA, LEED AP


Jim is a founding and managing partner of Studio Nexus with particular skills in sustainable design, code analysis, building assessment and feasibility studies, master planning, and all aspects of renovation work. This expertise is complemented by his ability to develop a close working relationship with clients, consultants, contractors, and code officials to facilitate design, contract documents and construction. With over 35 years of design experience, both in New England and the Pacific Northwest (as partner in Richard Brown Architects, LLP), Jim’s work includes many of Studio Nexus’ large-scale renovation and revitalization projects, with broad experience in a variety of commercial, institutional, and residential building types.

 

Jim received his Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He is licensed in multiple states including Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Oregon, and Washington.

 

Outside of the office, Jim enjoys hiking, walking, and exploring New England and beyond with his family and friends.
