Hartford Scattered Sites Project

The Hartford Scattered Site Project (HSSP) consists of 35 units among five sites located throughout the White River and Connecticut River Valley communities comprising Hartford, VT. Owned by Twin Pines Housing Trust, they range from two new buildings along South Main Street in downtown White River Junction, a pair of rehabilitated historic homes along the Connecticut River, to renovated townhouse style homes in two buildings near Quechee Gorge. Studio Nexus provided design, zoning, and planning guidance for this $5.7 million project, while coordinating funding and rebate requirements from a range of state and federal programs including HOME, VHCB, VHFA, VCDP, VFEP, AHP grant, Organizational Development Grant, Federal and State Low Income Tax Credits, as well as loans/mortgages. Twin Pines partnered with Housing Vermont to assist in developing this multifaceted project.
