Beauty Hill Barn
The owner’s vision was to transform a tractor shed into a small, independent dwelling unit for entertaining, recreation, brewing and enjoying views of the surrounding landscape, while still maintaining the barn’s function as a garage.
Its rural context and local codes demand understated, contextual materials on the exterior reminiscent of a barn. The efficient open floor plan, lofted ceiling, and numerous windows with spectacular views creates a surprisingly expansive interior that feels larger than its actual 800 sf size.
